The acting? Common and the Game score as baddies, but Hugh Laurie as an acid-tongued internal-affairs cop is disappointingly just House without the limp. show more

There's a lot to appreciate in Street Kings, a tight, propulsive action thriller, but there's one thing to marvel at, and that's James Ellroy's command of story. show more

Wastes a moderately intriguing premise by filling it with laughably clichéd dialogue, one-dimensional characters and implausible turns of events. show more

This is an excellent but predictable police action drama film featuring Keanu Reeves and a great supporting cast including Forest Whitaker, Hugh Laurie and Chris Evans that is worth seeing.; yes, the plot might be predictable but the action scenes are interesting, well acted and exciting; Keanu Reeves does a very nice and believable job portraying a misunderstood, alcoholic, tough cop who is just trying to keep the streets of LA safe of rift raft while walking a fine line between what may be right and what is law but ultimately ends being betrayed by his capital and the fellow officers on his team of special vice detectives.

It was one of those movies that I wish never ended. I wanted to see more. Keanu as always did a fabulous, fabulous job with his character . Everyone that was in the movie and was not in the movie did a fantastic job. Action packed and full of drama. I rented the movie, but now I am going to buy . It is a movie that I will never get tired of watching.

A true look at our cops that are sworn in to protect and serve but as the movies showed most of them have there own agenda after a few years of getting the short end of the stick
