Another movie for the hard-core cinema fan. Is this the low budget prequel that inspired Richard Condon's MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE? Why not?--with Frank... Sinatra changing from the evil assasin in SUDDENLY to the assasin's best friend? Also--for the hard core cinema fan who lives in Los Angeles, the movie is totally shot in neighborhing Newhall, then the closest thing to being the "Wild West town" closest to LA--now Santa Clarita. A delightfully unpredictable sleeper that proves new Argentine cinema really exists, Suddenly, by 26-year-old Diego Lerman, starts scary, moves through deadpan comic and comes out with a whimsical tenderness for its characters.Full Review

Doesn't always succeed -- the premise is hard to believe. Still, it's an unusual and interesting piece of filmmaking.Full Review
