It helps that the fun doesn't stop. It helps even more that the pitch-perfect script doesn’t step out of character for a joke. show more

For pure laughs, for the experience of just sitting in a chair and breaking up every minute or so, Superbad is 2007's most successful comedy. show more

Side-splitting laughter, along with some powerful cringing, are likely to be audiences' dominant reactions. show more

What's most memorable, most striking about Superbad is the canny evocation of male friendship in all its richness and complexity. show more

There is a hint of sentimentality among the pals at the end, but not enough to offset the film's harmless combination of camaraderie and wished-for - oh, how they wish for it - debauchery. show more

Some of the patter is funny, but the movie lacks the clever plot developments and the character nuances of a classic like "American Graffiti." And it's missing the belly laughs of earlier raunchfests "American Pie" and "There's Something About Mary." show more

The movie is astonishingly foul-mouthed, but in a fluent, confident way where the point isn't the dirty words, but the flow and rhythm, and the deep, sad yearning they represent. show more

In this teen-boy universe, sex is everywhere and nowhere, it's oozing out of every pop culture pore and every other insane boast, yet the idea of figuring out how to talk to girls without turning into a yutz remains elusive. show more

Superbad never forgets the lesson one learns when looking back on one's awkward youth: Cool isn't just where society dictates; it is also where you find it. show more

I think as a teen/young adult comedy it has a good story line and very funny scenes, what I also like about it is how they have the right characters for it. The one thing I didnt enjoy about it was the jokes were just crude and there was very little thought put into some of them. But good film!

The title says it all but I hate the idiota who say ohh this movie is so crude dont go see it. no kidding r, u dumb? did you watch the trailer? and by the way that IS exactly how teenagers talk and they were seniors not sophmors but it doesnt matter because everyone is high school talks like that. Just because your kids dont do it in front of you dont be fooled and if u r your an idiot. THE GREATEST THING ABOUT THIS MOVIE IS THAT IS DEPICTS HIGH SCHOOL LIFE EXACTLY HOW IT IS. THE ENTIRE NIGHT IS BASED ON GETTING LIQUOR AND THE POINT OF GETTING THAT LIQUOR IS TO GET SOME GIRL DRUNK!!!!!! THAT IS HIGH SCHOOL

I've lived in St Louis since 1983. I have found the O'Connell's burger hands down the BEST I've eaten in St Louis. Great quality of meat and cooked to your liking. My opinion is their burger surpasses Red Robin, Max & Erma's, Blueberry Hill, & Krieger's to name a few.\n\nI found the service to be average, but pleasant.

This movie will only appeal to the 17-25 crowd, too raunchy and stupid for any one over 25. If you are over 25(and would like a good comedy) I would recommend, the 40 year old virgin, and Election with reese witherspoon.

As (many of) the critics rightly say, the chemistry between Jonah and Michael is rare. For some time, I actually thought that these 2 guys (really) knew each other from Kindergarten--in real life. It would be difficult to orchestrate, as they did here, in Superbad, a friendship with such realism and cohesiveness, like this one. What I especially admired about the film is that I actually related to the white-collar, career-oriented kids in the film all seemingly having good upbringing (Dartmouth
