I thought this movie was pretty funny. I laughed a lot in it. I would have wished that there were more gags and less 1 liners. The first hour or hour 1/2 was great but i felt that towards the end i was wearing thin on the characters and overall premise of the movie. All the characters were great and had a great scrpit. It really captures some real life people. Why i think this movie is so funny is that we have come across people like this at 1 point or another in our lives so it is easy to compare. Overall this movie was utterly hilarious and i will buy it when it comes out i just dont think its the best comedy ever in which i have heard people mention.

Let's face it Ya'll. Paula Deen Is a wonderful cook, downhome, and great business woman. The food at Paula Deen's "the lady and son's " is truly just who Paula is. Down Home, Good, Southern Cooking. I have lived in savannah, for many years, and it appears there are some who just can't stand to see someone who truly worked from nothing to give us one of the Greatest Southern Restaurants as well as a Wonderful Southern Character of our time. I encourage anyone who is interested in Paula's Home Cooking to check it out. You will enjoy the fun atmosphere and the famous "Hoe-Cakes" Don't let local jealous restaurant owners or residents tell you different. You will enjoy!! This movie is completely inappropriate and freaking HALARIOUS, maybe the funniest movie I have ever seen. I have a very lewd sense of humor and even I cringed at some of the jokes. I would absolutely see it again.

This movie had many funny moments, but it is filled with basic cliche's that I used to hear growing up. The makers of this movie go into areas that we all know exist, but never really talk about unless we are at a stag party, and even then most people will roll their eyes and say, "Oh brother". In other words, the movie is not nearly as clever as Fast Times at Ridgemont, Animal House, Spaceballs, or even Borat. Wait for the DVD.

This movie is so clever and took so much ingenuity to make it a great story and not just a series of funny sets. To me, this is closer to Dazed and Confused or American Grafiti than Caddyshack or Old School.

I have never laughed so much and so consistently in one movie. From beginning to end, this movie is non stop gut wrenching dirty humor.
