Plot Summary
This documentary follows the stories of six female Holocaust survivors, each a former prisoner at Auschwitz-Birkenau. The women, from various countries, arrived at the camp with different backgrounds -- one was the daughter of labor activists, another was studying to be nurse and another was the child of a Prague industrialist. As the film splices current interviews with archival footage, each woman explains how she was able to remain hopeful and to survive in the face of unimaginable horror.

I happened across this last night on TV. It was remarkable, touching and brings us back to how awful the holocoaust was. I have no idea how these woman who all look beautiful today maintained a sense of humor and could actually talk about their experiences. THey indeed are the survivors of the survivors. Kudos to these remarkable woman and Jon Kean the director.

This was wonderfully done!! So sad, but something everyone should be aware of. It's hard to believe what these wonderful women survived. AND, to think that human beings could treat other human beings this way!! Guess it shows what "evil" can do. Thanks to God that these women survived to tell...what a testimony. Jon Kean is a very talented person to make such a movie. It was so interesting. I'd give it the highest ratings!!
