saw this movie in britain last week and absolutely loved it. a really good picture of Britain in the sxites...Joe Meek was a nutcase. A gay speed-freak who ran his recording studio in the most unorthodox way. In the early and mid-sixties he produced some incredible hit records including "Telstar" by the Tornadoes which he wrote and "Have I the Right" by the Honeycombs. Con O'Neil who is essentially a stage performer delivers an outrageous performance that might have worked better on a stage...but I am soooo happy they gave him the chance to play this role. It's going to be a small film here...but you should seek it out...well worth the effort.
