  • Bale even cedes the juiciest part to Aussie newcomer Sam Worthington, who is star material as a machine with a conscience. T4 is a mixed bag, but it's not f***ing amateur. show more

  • When Christian Bale allowed himself to play Bruce Wayne in "Batman Begins," he was slumming - and to good effect. But with Terminator Salvation, this ostensibly serious actor takes up residence in the action ghetto, and it's not a good fit. show more

  • The predictable story feels as if it were written by a computer program labeled "sequel." show more

Just an opinion but next \'\'terminator\'\' animated!?!?!!@#$%^&*()_+ Very sad. I know that this is sci-fi but, to me, within sci-fi there is the possibility of reality at some point in the future. A cartoon is fantasy regardless of the amount of lipstick one puts on it. Cartoons that are even based in historical fact are hard pressed to relate, to the viewer, an important and serious point. How serious would we have taken Platoon, Tora, Tora, Tora, Midway, Born on the Fourth, Saving Private Ryan, etc, etc. It is without argument that any of the \'\'terminator\'s\'\' are in the same class as the afore mentioned works but they all are in a similar genre and force the viewer to consider the depraved nature that our species can descend.
