Extraodinary film. Bogie and the \'Great Kate\' are wonderful together as the uptight spinster missionary and the whiskey-swilling, devil-may-care riverboat pilot. Funny, touching, suspenseful... one ... of my favourites of all time. Full Review
John was one heck of a mighty fine director. Hhe could even drink Bogie under the table.
Humphrey Blogart was one of the rare actors that produced such a fine portfolio of work. His pairing with Hepburn was unequaled except for his pairing with Bacall. In both pairs, there was a certain... chemistry that spoke to the viewers heart and made for great cinema. Full Review
