The Atlanta Child Murders synopsis

Over a two-year period between 1979 and 1981, an estimated 30 African-American children, adolescents and adults were killed in Atlanta. The murders were presumed to be the work of one man: aspiring disc jockey Wayne Williams. This film explores the aftermath of the killings, Williams' defense and the evidence collected by investigator Chet Dettlinger (Martin Sheen), which ultimately convicted Williams for two murders, though questions over his guilt in the case remain.
