The Badder Meinhof Complex is powerful and historically intriguing ! The music ,Language and pure content is very entertaining and well written. The exploration or terrorism through the eyes of young adults who where viewed as radicals is intense but very important. This film is great for all types of personalities and interest.Although it is for a more mature adult audience, Its sure to stir up a controversial yet accurate view of a forgotten time in history.

This movie may be the most important movie of the year. Baader Meinnhof's role in the growth of terrorism as we know it today is detailed in this excellent and gripping movie. Don't let the movie's length or subtitles stop you from seeing this. It almost did for us but we went and were glad we did.

This is a powerful account of the emergence and evolution of the German Communist terrorist organisation, the Baader Meinhof gang. It is based on a best selling German book, and the author attempted to be scrupulous in pursuit of the truth about what happened. At the beginning I felt that perhaps the film was evolving into an apologia for the terrorists. In some ways, by humanising them in the beginning to an extent, it was apologetic. But by the end you cannot help but see them as inhuman brutal fanatics, who murdered many innocent people in pursuit of a mad ideological fantasy. The only disconcerting aspect was the insertion of the Bob Dylan song "Blowing in the Wind," during the closing credits. That song was totally out of place after the horrific ending. Hopefully the producer's personal puerility has been edited out by the director before Academy judges have seen it and before its worthy theatrical release.
