It looks like I'm the only one who hated this movie. Just not my cup of tea, I guess. It was difficult to follow, too many characters to keep track of, and it didn't have my full interest or attention. Can't put my finger on it, just couldn't wait until it was over. Just my 2-cents. The people I was with liked it more than I did. I guess I was in the mood for something light. This was heavy, heavy, heavy.

Saw this film this weekend and After a slow start for the first 15 minutes or so it picks up steam and continues to hold your interest with its twists and turns to the finale. Good acting, a good script and a compelling story, supposedly loosely adapted, makes for an interesting and entertaining film. Worth a look but it is for adults only.

The Bank Job is based at least in part on a fascinating episode that occurred in London back in 1971. The back was robbed but why British authorities covered it up with a D-Notice is more a matter of conjecture. It's the best film of the New Year. Read my full at johnhuntspace.com

British movies always seem to be more realistic than American ones and this is no exception. This is a great film aided by the acting and the real locations.

Yes, it may not be an awesome movie for some but it is definitely a well-made and well-acted movie and more importantly, very entertaining. Needless to say, Brits can act! Due to some nudity, it will not be appropriate for some viewers.

I actually liked this movie both the first and second time. That's 3 films in 5 months that were worth paying for. I have seen so much crap at the theaters lately, Jumper, 10KBC, Semi-Pro, No Country were all total garbage. This one is good.
