HORRIBLE MOVIE! I had no idea what was going on throughout the entire movie and it SUCKED. I love cameron diaz and james marsden but please, do not waste your time watching this crap movie!
This movie would have been harder hitting by exposing human greed if the couple chosen for the alien experiment were selected randomly. However, after careful viewing I conclude the alien and his human helpers set up their human targets for failure. First the wife was told by an alien helper(administrator) that her scholarship was dropped. Next her husband
Although I was a bit confused by the ending-left me hanging:; it was a very interesting movie!

Not terrible, but not great. When a man comes to an innocent family with a terrible two choices they must make which is pressing a button on a box which takes an innocent life they do not know and getting a million dollars or just decline the whole thing, hell breaks loose upon them and must make terrible and heart breaking choices with the last final mind-bending choice that finally puts it all
