IN 2 IRON
This is a MUST SEE , emotionally disturbing film. IRONY in its purest form. My husband and I saw it last night and I dont think we will ever be the same after seeing this film. The film focuses more on the forbidden relationship bewteen two 8 year old boys--one the son of a Nazi commander and the other a Jewish boy in a concentration camp. The film is riveting and shocking. Everyone, Jewish and non-Jewish needs to see this film. It is an IRONIC film with IRONIC consequences--- Should have won best foreign film (English). Michele (Great Neck, N.Y.)

WOW! What a film. Loved everything about it. The casting was perfect. The music appropriate, not distracting. Told from a child's point of view, it makes me wonder what the children of Darfur are thinking asthey suffer a similar fate. I was terrified, right along with the victims@ films inevitable end. A similar experiential feeling felt @ "The Museum of Tolerence" in L.A. A must see, especially for those that don't think it can happen again.

I saw the movie and I highly recommend it. It was very moving as seen from the view of an 8 year old boy. GO SEE IT. It is worthy of a best picture nod in my view.

I saw the movie yesterday and still cannot stop thinking about it. The movie was superbly done. The acting was outstanding. I will never forget this story. The theatre was crowded and when the movie ended, people just sat in their seats - and there was not a sound. Most of the audience members were senior citizens and were children when the war and its horrors were going on. I, myself, was a child of 7 or 8 years old when I became aware of the war. i understand and have empathy/sympathy for the tragedy of the holocaust; i thought of the "holocaust" (call it ethnic cleansing, genocide) that the state of israel is currently perpetrating on the palestinians; similar atrocities are taking place daily. i understand how the plight of the jews was a hidden atrocity as it was taking place; much like the one happening now in palestine. this is a good movie to see to remember the horrors humans are capable of. apparently, many did not know what was happening AS IT WAS HAPPENING; the propoganda portraying the camps as pleasant was a tactic much like the propaganda about portraying palestinian as the agressor in all situations today; this is simply not true; the state of israel with american support is the aggressor much more than the palestinians; one need only pay attention to the imbalance of power.see this movie to be reminded that history will repeat itself unless we are wise to remember it. the humanity in bruno is in all of us.
