hey brian do you have downs syndrome ??? that movie was awsome !!! heath ledger was the man and is a god in acting after that performance....ill agree with you the jack nicholson was a good joker but not nearly as good as ledger.......and roxiiiiii go die!!!!!...so what if he could talked with half his face burned off or if he has his makeup on in custody...... its a movie and not real life so live with it you batch !!!!

Best movie of the year. The depth of Heath's performance is astounding. It did have one problem though. Just when it feels like the story should end, a new vilain emerges and so it feels like there's 20 minutes or so of just trying to rebuild the momentum.

I heard the movie was very dark which led mr to think that this Batman might be as annoyingly bad as the Batman Movies made in 1989 and following. Back then many a parent took their children to see what they thought would be a kids movie and many a child was traumatized, particularly, the 1st two in that series of Batman movies. I was glad to find out that this was not the case. From beginning to end, this Batman was well made, the plot was sound, the action was enjoyable. BTW, IMO, Heath Ledger's Joker seemed to be modeled on Craig Bierko's Max Baer role in Cinderella Man, particularly in the voice intonations and the style of cutting shocking humor. Just a thought. BTW, it is still not ok to let young children watch this movie, the movie should have recieved an 'R' rating. The quest by Hollywood to push more and more violence on an ever youger audience is never ending.

i am really tired of people just going to see this movie because of Heath Ledger. no doubt he was great as the joker but i know that i went because i am giant Batman fan. The Dark Knight is the perhaps the greatest super hero movie that i have ever seen. the action took my breath away. Heath Ledger did do a fantastic job in this film. he was the perfect psycho. i loved this movie and i think everyone should see this especially if you love Batman

I have followed batman all my life with comic books first, the show in the 60's, the 80's movies---this one is very good --but very dark and upsetting. You really are watching a psycho pathic mass murdering in action---I must of seen 100 people die yesterday---2 young kids in the theater ran out crying after the opening scene with the mask robbers shooting everyone. I am a adult--but I hope parents out there will only go with their older kids to this.

It was good but I think Jack Nicholson's performance as the Joker out shined that of this current Joker character.
