couldn't wait. it might not have been as good as the original, but it was a far sight better than cruise's war of the worlds. thought keanau was good and i've been enamored of jennifer since legend. i give it 8 of 10.

Klactu Baracta Nictu. What a waste of a movie. Complete departure from the original. Is there a movie where we won't see Will's kid in?

Wait for it on DVD. Its not worth the money unless you are into special effects, even thats not worth it cause there wasn't enough to make the movie better. The storyline was ok at best, I personally thought there were somethings that could've been done to bring more life into the movie. If you still want to go I suggest you read all of the critics review first, they nailed right on. The movie is subpar at best and they could've provided more CGI.

Total waste of a remake. The orginal film was a thinking film with a few special effects on the side. In the original the characters were developed. The story line was enjoyable. The robot was impressive. The original was made with the intent to give audiences the chance to think, "what if". The remake has an actor with limited range playing the lead. Special effect all over the place in place of an appropriate story line. And the story was made for generation - Y who have the attention span of 10 seconds. I'm sure for them the remake will be, like wow. Its just a sad comentary on our society and film making. Wait for film to come out in video. I give it a month.
