As a movie it self it was okay (so-so) but as a remake it's really bad.

This movie was pretttttyyyyy bad. Would not reccomend it for anyone.You would probably enjoy the new hannah montana movie better then this. My advice if its between watching this movie or taking a nap, definately take the nap trust me.

The original movie is a scifi icon. This movie was good even though the message was told in a different way. The first dealt witht the human race and our ability to destroy with the use of atomic bombs and war and our utter lack of respect for anything including a superior race or each other. This one dealt with our penchant for destruction of each other, our world and anyone different from what we consider normal and human - even if that alien race has the capability of wiping us out of existence. The human race - so superior - we are the only intelligent life in the vast universe aren't we???

Movie was very good. Keanu Reeves was excellent. An ending similar to the ending on the TV version could've made this movie a great one.

This is a pale copy of the original iconic movie. Keanu Reeves will NEVER be Michael Renne. I wish they'd leave perfect movies alone and not try to remake them. 90% (OK, I'm exaggerating) of this movie is computer generated. It's like a cartoon.
