Hong Kong action crime specialist Andy Lau (Young and Dangerous, Infernal Affairs) makes his English-language debut with this psychological thriller concerning a vigilant federal agent (Richard Gere) in pursuit of a dangerous sex offender. As the search for a missing girl intensifies, a tireless agent assigned the task of training his younger female protégé (Claire Danes) sets out to arrest the paroled sexual deviant whom he believes to be responsible for the crime.
