We thought The Game Plan was a wonderful movie. It was a CLEAN and funny movie. I recommend they make more family movies like this one. The whole movie was great and it had a wonderful ending. For anyone reading this review I highly recommend this movie as a family movie. You won't, want to miss it.

It's quite possible that I really wanted this movie to be funnier than it was supposed to be. Therein may lie my disappointment. But I doubt it. I am a fan of British comedy going back to the days of Benny Hill and Monty Python. That being said, this movie, unlike it's aforementioned predecessors, was scarce on laughs. Timing, delivery, and character's responses to the various situations all seemed to be very off in this movie, leaving me with the feeling that the writers and directors of this film were on a very tight deadline. It seems as though it was written more for a play than a big screen movie. A play would probably have been more enjoyable. Although I didn't walk out of the theater on this one, had I rented it, I most assuredly would have brought the DVD back to the store for an exchange.

I live in Tustin, and prefer to drive to Yen Ching's in Orange or Golden Dragon in Costa Mesa. Seafood Palace is inconsistent, and most of it is just OK, though service was better than the food. I come back once a year but as a frequent diner in restaurants I can't recommend this place. We have tried about 10 different dishes, and they just don't compare to the two other restaurants in well defined flavors (e.g. sweet orange and pineapple sauces), freshness of ingredients (i.e. shrimp and vegetables), and portion size.

I don't know what movie most of these people saw but I don't think it could have been The Brave One....This was the most depressing, ugly and crude movie I have seen in a long time.I guess I should have guessed when I saw the empty theater, there must have been about 6 people in it. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone. For the most part it is totally unbelievable and vulgar. We love going to the movies but I wish someone would come up with something new....and enjoyable to watch....
