This movie was a cheap and vulgar attempt to promote atheism in children.\nThe sick people in Hollywood better realize that decent Americans will not\ntolerate this deranged liberal lifestyle. I'm glad this movie bombed!

i pray that God has mercy on the people involved in this movie the actors in it the crew producing it and the people allowing this to be played in their theatres. There is a God and you will see one dayy and you will pay for trying to and maybe convincing kids there isnt.

This movie is based on a trilogy of books about children trying to kill god. It is very disturbing to know these well know stars would be apart of such a movie. It has greatly changed my opinion of the actors, before this I did admire some of them but can nolonger admire them now. I hope that the public wakes up and protest such a movie.

First of all, I have to say that the cast, producers and director did an admirable job of bringing this story to the big screen. It is never easy to convert any respectable piece of literature to a movie format. Time constraints just won't allow it. But I felt they compromised well where they had to. The story was enthralling, the plot more substantive than I would have expected, and spoke deeply to me about the fight between good and evil.To the Christian naysayers out there...GROW UP!!! It's a movie based on a literary work of art, sprung from human imagination. As a Chistian and hopeful writer, I can relate well the angst writers feel when they pursue their dreams of putting their dreams into the world. this movie is not going to turn people away from God. God speaks to all of us in different ways. And no movie is going to change that. Are you that unsure in your faith?Once again, I say kudos to the cast and crew and to Mr Pullman for a wonderful story. One I hope to see completed on the big screen.

Wow I was very impressed with the quality of the movie. It was wonderful. Had not been to the movie in while. Very adventurous movie very good animation.

Honestly, all those who bash this film/book series for being "promoting athesim", need to go away and never come back. How dare you people who call yourselves christians bash anyone else on this planet. If you were true believers, you would be loving everyone else insetead of calling them stupid for *gasp* not believing in what you believe. Honestly, go back and re-learn you're religion because you've got it all wrong.

There is a reason the writer used the archaic daemon, from the Greek daimon, instead of demon. Please, understand the difference before making comments. If you are having trouble, specifically look back into Alexander's time,

All of you who are trying to find fault in this movie arehypocrites. On one hand you praise Harry Potter whichcaptures kids imagination with magic, which by the wayhas been deemed by some mothers as practicing Wtchcraft,yet you cry foul when this film seems to portray children notbelieving in God. For crying out loud! It's only a movie. Fictionno less. 10 years from now these kids will have forgotten allabout the film and will be focusing on whatever new fantasy Hollywood puts on the screen.
