This company gives a bad name to men who actually work hard and do not prey on individuals. The type of attitude, lack of ability to communicate with this person and using poor quality materials and workers who are unskilled including the owner. He is loud, brazen and will rip you off and laugh in your face. Never ever use this contractor without the better business bureau being informed.

I thought that this movie was great. I have read several reviews that are more a bashing at the author and his beliefs or lack there of then the movie itself. Good movie go see it! Quote "I think they must have just barely gotten the PG rating. It really should be PG-13" this movie is PG-13 please check the rating before ranting thanks.

I enjoyed this movie. I just saw it this evening with the family, and while I was a little surprised at some of the violence at the end (I had my six-year-old with me), the rating was clear that this was a dark and intense movie. My kids all liked it, including the youngest.Trying not to spoil the plot, I found that the pace of the movie was brisk, but left many unanswered questions. The director tried to answer some of these with narrative and soto voce explanations, which helped somewhat. The content of the story was truly exciting, and I found the controversy over the atheist content to have been overblown, and not helpful. I would have loved to see this movie done in 180 minutes, rather than 90.I have to say that when the movie ended, I was left wanting for more. The ending was clearly intended to leave the door open for the next two movies, and I can only say I hope they get made.I would grant this movie an A for effort, but only a C for execution. My overall rating for this movie was a B.Effects: AStory: AActing: B Implementation: CGo see it for yourself, It was worth the price of admission and popcorn. After all, not every movie you see will change the way you see the world: it's just a movie!

My wife loves canollis. We had tried this place a couple of times and she really liked them there. The other day she called the place up to order some, and while on the phone she asked if the canollis were fresh. A simple question, one would think.. Apparently not for the person on the other end of the line, who scornfully responded saying: ?That?s a stupid question?! My wife who was in no mood to argue at that moment, hang up the phone without ordering the canollis.. \nWhen she told me, later on, I decided to pay a visit to the restaurant, not for any other reason but rather out of genuine curiosity to find out who was that business specialist that talked to his customers like that.. By the way, the store is in a new shopping area and has just opened for business six months ago or so..\nGuess what! The guy on the phone was the manager/owner of the place himself. And, yes, that was ?a stupid question? he told me again, and went on to explain that there is really not such a thing as a fresh canolli, they?re all frozen.. Maybe so.. We didn?t know that.. Does that make your question stupid? Hmm.. What?s smarter I wonder, asking whether a canolli is fresh, or telling your customers they?re stupid for asking?? I was trying to make a point of that, maybe reason with the guy. After all I still had the good intention of buying a canolli if he showed some sign of understanding.. Well, it could be that it was a busy night and he did not have much time to spent talking to a ?stupid? customer, nevertheless the next thing he said to me was that I had ?10 seconds to get out of here?.. His exact words folks; no kidding!\n\nThese are the facts, exactly as they happened; you can draw your own conclusions.\n\nBroadway Pizza everyone; the place to get a ?not-so-fresh? canolli and possibly a good beating if you are not at your best behavior and tick the guy off..

While I admit, certain aspects of the book were left out, the movie did what movies are meant to do - entertain. The discourse on the importance of dust to this parallel world and its potential impact on ours was neglected, sadly. For all of the religious nuts out there, seriously, go see the movie and if you are that threatened by a film, perhaps you are not as strong in your faith as you would have your neighbors believe. I welcome the chance for someone to challenge my Christian beliefs because no movie, or no person, can change that or take that away from me.For parents, seriously consider bringing only your older children, there were several "dark" scenes that may or may not be appropriate for younger children. I think they must have just barely gotten the PG rating. It really should be PG-13. The point of this movie is that free will is being challenged everywhere. If you feel this resembles your church, perhaps you should go more often. The special effects were the best I've seen in a film, the acting was on point as the cold characters were distant and the audience automatically falls in love with the little British girl. They did an amazing job of making the animals look real and the plot was easy to follow for anyone with a higher than 6th grade education.

This is by far the best bike shop in Springfield.\nI love my fixie and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, located downtown close to Patton Alley Pub and Hickock's Steakhouse......which both have great happy hours.

I have no idea why atheism/religion has gotten into this. If anything this story/film's message impressed upon me that your spirit is a invaluable part of ones being. The villains want to destroy it and the heroes want to preserve it. Whats wrong with that? The movie was beautiful to watch, characters were well developed and acted. The storyline was great, excitement, drama, mystery all in one!It was a little scary for my 9 year old at a couple of points, but so are many other films such as Harry Potter. All in all a A film! We can't wait untill the sequal comes out, we may even have to .....GASP.....READ the book LOL!Go see it for yourself !

While "The Golden Compass" might be a great movie to SEE we must remember what it is portraying. This movie and its possible trilogy will try to undermine GOD and Christianity. The writer of this book needs to take himself and his atheist views back to England or wherever he came from. The United States of America is a country founded on Christian values and anyone who preaches otherwise is blasphemous. How DARE ANYONE write a book that tells of a story about children killing our LORD

I had to see this movie opening weekend and I'm thrilled with the results. I think it's foolish to think the movie should be more like the book. The book "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" is about 250 pages. It's a far simpler story aimed at being understandable for younger children. (I also thought the movie was wonderfully true to the book.) "The Golden Compass" is 400 pages - almost twice as long - and while aimed at young adults, it's a much more complex book: even for adults. The movie works great as a mix of wonderful and fascinating characters and fantastic adventures. Wouldn't you love to ride a bear? The animal "daemons" are GLORIOUSLY well done! In portrayal as well as CGI. Fantastic acting, especially the evil characters. I'm glad this thrill ride will pave the way for the next two movies!!!I think they did a great job at hitting the main plot points in an exciting way while also piquing interest in the constant power struggle between control and free will.
