Add a commentyeah!!! i love this book!! and hey, teacher, i am only like, 12 and i thought it was fine. you are too harsh. i absolutely love this book, and i hope that it will be a great movie, but hopefully not animated like coraline was...

I have been a teacher for 25 years and this is without a doubt the worst selection of a Newbery Winner for children's books. It begins by a family getting murdered and the baby escaping to the local cemetery where he is raised by the ghosts living in the cemetery graves. I have yet to find a parent that I would feel comfortable enough to recommend this book for their child to read. And the movie is coming??????
