How could a 2009 raunchfest that slapped a grin on my face I couldn't unglue degenerate into a cold dish of sloppy seconds? show more

This dark and seedy follow-up to 2009's blockbuster comedy has a quite a retro message - suggesting that civilized men carry inside them a monster, a "demon" within, that requires constant taming. show more

Hangover II marks one of the most derivative sequels of the year: The opening and closing scenes are taken almost shot-for-shot from the original. Just substitute Asians for Americans, gross-outs for guffaws. show more

Phillips sticks so close to the formula of his original that even the characters are given to saying things like, "I can't believe this is happening again." show more

It follows the same essential pattern as its predecessor, but the ingenious loopiness is gone; the mechanism behind it grinds instead of whirrs. show more

It's not that Part II is bad, exactly. If "The Hangover" had never existed, this movie might feel funnier than it does, if not quite as freshly hilarious. show more

It delivers what it's expected to deliver, and that's likely to make it a success with anyone who laughed his ass off two summers ago. show more

the second hangover was more dark than the first. there were parts when it was funny but most of the time it was gross and disturbing . I recommend the first movie. the movie felt repetious with the three characters trying to find the lost friend and having inappropiate pictures at the end. i hope that if there is thrid movie it will be more like the first.

Follows the same formula of the first, and obtain the same success, great jokes of the light to heavy, particularly the scene in the brothel transvestite was crying with laughter once again give the actors a show, and the plot is very interesting. The only defect was the lack of explanation for certain aspects of the film, some scenes were too forced. But it is highly recommended

I liked it, but it wasn\'t good as the first one. The monkey was the best character in it, but it was still funny!!

They nailed it, the typical stupid movie with stupid drunks doing nothing but stupid things... wow, is this really where America is heading? Scary!

i thought this movie was just as funny as the first. and i dont know what people are talking about about they just saw the same movie twice. sure its the same plot in a different setting. but thats all that is alike. if you focus on how its different then it is extremely funny. bring on part 3!
