this movie was good. it wasnt great, but i dont consider it a complete waste of my money. i thought there would b a bit more action and some scary parts in it. but i still liked it. i laughed at a few parts and thought the movie was decent. besides u should go c the movie just to c mark

Ok, as far as the movie alone, it sucked. It was almost as horrible, and as tragic as the Mist, but not quite. M. Nights movies are so good, The Signs, The Village, The Sixth Sense, I know that this man is brilliant, So I have been trying to make "Sense" of this. I think in a very wacky enviromentalistic, way, (I know thats not a word, but hey I'm taking my cue from Midnight), he wanted to send out a message that we are harming the environment so badly, that one day the trees are going fire back and just kill us apocalypse style. Yes I said the trees. They are going to send out there magic scent and make us start killing ourselves. M.Night had to be angry, confused, and waisted, and maybe going through a slight break down. That is the only reasonable explanation I can give for such a horrible movie from a man who doesn't make horrible movies. My husband and I was so shocked and dazed we walked out of the theater looking just like the people off the movie when the trees chemical essence took over them! What a waist of Mark Wahlberg.

This has got to be one of my top 10 worst movies ever. Very disappointed. The acting left a lot to be desired also. Don't waste your money.

This was THE WORST I have seen in a long time. The scenes that should have been horrific were actually funny. A lot like Monty Python sketches. (The lions in the zoo...) We all laughed out loud. I really wish I had my 90 minutes back...

Just like every other M.Night movie, "The Happening" was OUTSTANDING! The Happening, just like most of Night's movies, makes you think. You have to have an imagination and a functioning intellect to appreciate FICTION people! M.Night is on his way to be a legend just like Spielberg. FIVE STARS for The Happening!!!

This movie should be called "Ain't Happening"! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. Terrible plot, script, acting-I'm still in shock it was so BAD. I can't believe Mark Wahlberg agreed to act in this movie. I want my money back!!!
