My dad and I love to see horror movies together! I was going to see The Haunting in Connecticut tonight. So, I started to read the movie reviews. I'm confused whether to watch it or not! Many are saying it sucks and is for people who get scared easily. All the other people say they loved it. I'm very confused and still curious about the movie.

Much more inventive than movies such as "The Messengers" Or "Drag Me To Hell". One of the few horror films that is worthy of it's name.

My boyfriend and I are going to see that tonight, and I get scared VERY easily.. And, I want to know what parts are in it before I see it.. HELPP!

This movie was horrible! The plot didn't come in until that last 1/4 of the movie...and even then it didn't make sense. The plot was really inconstant, they kept saying "only people on the brink of death can see the dead" and yet the whole family could see the dead at various points in the movie, but then they couldn't later. Anyone who liked the movie lacks the intelligence to appreciate plots, and is just a thrill-sucker.

It's not as bad as some people are saying. It should have come out around Halloween or bitten the bullet to become a Rated R film, but considering they had to curb scenes to stay in the realm of PG it was effective enough. People with a little education about the Victorian era and the occult might enjoy it's story more than others.
