i have always loved \"the hobbit\" as a novel, but we accidentally bought tickets to the hdr version, and i have to say i didn't like it at all. the filming was more like the 10 o'clock news than a fantasy....took all the magic out of it for me.
HFR 3D is a success for The Hobbit. Although different from traditional movie viewing, I really enjoyed the new format. There's more of an interaction between viewer and film as opposed to passive watching. By far the most visually stimulating film I've seen in theaters.

NOT EVEN CLOSE to the first three movies. This movie sucked. All i could do not to fall asleep
