I am dissappointed the distribution is so weak. It apparently is the critic reviews that get a movie seen....money!! I hope it is on DVD as suggested. I will check Block Buster..

While we enjoyed the realistic photography of the movie, my husband and I are still wondering why Ralph Finnes was listed as on of the character as he only had a cameo part. I partly went to see this film because I like Ralph Finnes?? It was misleading to mention him in the main list of characters. He could have been mentioned as a brief participant.

Very Good! This is THE Iraq movie and that's the truth. No politics. Just very good story and acting. A must see!

First I would like to say that I liked this movie a lot and I am a big fan of Jeremy Renner. The movie itself seemed very amateurishly made. There was very little character development and would it have killed the director to, perhaps, explain what the hurt locker is and its importance to Renner's character. Why does he do this job? What is his motivation? When one of the characters say he is a "adrenaline junkie", I just didn't believe it. It did not seem that he did his job to get a rush. One of the reviewers compared him Robert Duval's Apocolypse Now character. In AN, Duval derived his confidence from over 100 years of cavalry experience. We learned this in the back story. That is why Apocolyse Now is a classic and The Hurt Locker will be just another good movie.

My deepest respect for our soldiers that are risking their lives out there against an enemy that uses civilians as shields and thinks nothing of using children as bomb carrying devices, but this movie was the biggest piece of crap that I ever saw. It had all the raunchiness of Jarhead and few if any redeeming factors. You did not care about the central characters or the limp story line which went nowhere. The movie was plodding with few moments to liven up the plot. My wife and I agreed that this was the worst film (exception of Jarhead) that we have ever seen. Even the title line was never explained anywhere in the movie. Obviously a lot of good stuff landed on the cutting room floor or the director was simply incompetent.

Ain't this Funny i saw this movie 2 months Ago, n now its coming out...this DVD is already Out n The Movie is making its way to Big Screen... Greg Shapiro & Nicolas Chartier Would be so up n need more security on Finished Products.
