What a movie, your heart beats so fast through the whole movie. You feel what the actors feel.This film is nail biting from start to finish.If your heart isn't pumping through your chest go and see a doctor man, you have no pulse. The action scenes are off the chart and the violence is real. Spend the money, you wont regret it.

Just saw Hurt Locker today and I thought it was an excellent film, probably the best I've seen in some time, although that's not saying much. The movie grabs from the first moments and keeps you on edge as it moves from scene to scene, and predicament to predicament. The director allows the audience to experience the terror and loss of life in Iraq without the excess gore and graphical violence so common in films these days. Emotionally exhausting and eye-opening at the same time. Bring a flask of something strong, you'll need it.

EASILY the best movie of the summer.. even though that's not saying much with the horrible summer flix of 09. I've been around military my whole life, I'm in the military.. and thought this movie was pretty accurate for the "time" it was portraying, '04 I think. Seriously, it was so intense and you totally felt for all the characters individually.. even his wife and kid back home.. This movie owns..

Listen buddy, it's a movie...which is why they say &********* just a movie". There is no reason to hate it b/c ur army MP experience showed you the reality of operating in theatre. Thanks for ur service, but save the dick measuring for a place besides a movie review forum. I liked it....thought it was very entertaining even though not always spot on to reality. Keeps you on the edge of ur seat which is why I went to the theatre in the first place

while not much happens plot-wise in the movie, it is still one of the most emotionally compelling character studies i have seen in a while. A film that is so self-explanatory in its message, and in the symbolism that we confront everywhere. The crate he keeps under the bed, the bombs within the little boy, the drug of war that compels the men of the squad to fight each other while they're drunk (even when not in battle). Everything in this movie took my breath away - while some scenes seemed to drag a little long, they were so real, so raw. You grow to love this family of squad soldiers, as each one has his own story and his own charisma beneath the military suit. Not a film to miss.
