The final confrontation between the Hulk and Blonsky, now the roaring Abomination, is like the clash of Downey and Bridges in "Iron Man," only not as exciting. show more

    Mick LaSalle San Francisco Chronicle

Embraces its identity as a sci-fi-summer-action-blockbuster extravaganza. Along the way, it actually comes close to finding the balance that Lee was looking for. show more

This Hulk is more viscerally angry and packs a bigger wallop than Ang Lee's talkier, more introspective version. But it's hardly the best superhero movie around. "Iron Man" was wittier and more fun. show more

    Joe Morgenstern Wall Street Journal

Once again, though, the film is defined by the strengths and weaknesses of the source material. While Bruce is working on anger management, you may find yourself working on boredom management, and matching his rate of success. show more

Don't run off before the credits start to roll, though: The Incredible Hulk ends with a jokey cameo by a certain movie star with his own newfound superhero franchise. show more

Roth and Hurt glower semi-engagingly, and while Norton's scrawniness works, he seems intellectually disengaged, despite his helping to craft Zak Penn's script. show more

    Kirk Honeycutt The Hollywood Reporter

"Iron Man" has more wit and style, but Hulk is a neat thrill ride with an intelligent script by Zak Penn and smart, well-paced direction by the French director of "The Transporter" series, Louis Leterrier. show more

    Michael Phillips Chicago Tribune

Until the last 20 minutes, which stumble around in an attempt to set up a sequel, The Incredible Hulk keeps slamming everything forward, satisfyingly. show more

The dialogue is minimal but sharp, the pace swift and the action sequences suitably loud and brutal. show more

The Incredible Hulk is a more traditional superhero movie than its predecessor and should please those who want their not-so-jolly green giant served with helpings of action. This film provides less talk and more smashing. show more

This movie was WAY better than the 2003 one. There more action, more intense fight, and better story, writing, and maybe better acting. The final fight was amazing. I do feel That Abomination looked was a little silly. But the movie was great. 4 out of 5.

I enjoyed the Hulk a lot! That Norton really played his part but the scenes with Liv Tyler were awkward looking. Liv is not the right girl for that part. She not fragile or pretty enough to keep seeing photos or flashs of her in the opening of the movies. And, there was no chemistry, especially compared to Iron man Downey and Paltrow. I think that ending means a Iron Man and Hulk on the way. Please recast Liv Tyler's role with someone a little cuter and little more petite.

This Hulk movie was far better than the 2003 Hulk movie. The story line was better. The fight scenes were more action packed. And the Hulk didn't look like a giant, fat booger. Sure there were some parts in it that was kind of out there but all in all this movie was well worth the money.

The Incredible Hulk was all I hoped It to be even more. Edward Norton and Liv Tyler were great to play Bruce Banner and Betty Ross and William Hurt as the general and Tim Roth as the villian.
