ONE OF THE TOP TEN WORST MOVIES I HAVE EVER SEEN! A TOTAL WAST OF TIME AND MONEY!

Saw this movie, and I enjoyed it. Laughed at the depiction of THE FAILED SYSTEM! Money Talks and People are like ROBOTS > Milking and Working Every Possible Angle! This a Thinking Man's Movie and I am a Thinking Woman! So for me, it works! If You like beat 'em up, knock 'em down, drag it out, gore, blood & guts < NOT for You! But, if You want to confirm The Times, The HEADLINES and The GOLDEN RULE that >>> The Love of MONEY is The Root of ALL EVIL, then, this ONE is Worth YOUR time and ticket!

Matt Damon is a great actor, but this movie can only be described as tedious. I would not recommend this movie to anyone.

This movie was PURE Garbage being promoted by people who must not have seen it but ASSUMED it would be great because of Matt and the director.NOOOOTTTTTT!!!! We finally got up and demanded our money back after staying long enough for it to get better. (It never did.) If you are even considering going to see this DON'T. It was a total waste and I may never go to see Matt again. How could he put his name and face in such CRAP!!! I can't even put one star on this monstrosity. But that I could give it a negative rating!

Well, based on the intelectual critique of Tickledpnk31, I'll have to pass on even seeing this one. Thanks Tickledpnk31! You should have your own TV segment on a national news program just for reviewing movies. In fact, I'd pay to see you in your ghetto ho outfit, spewing your rants on the latest crappy movies! That, my friends, is entertainment! The 5 stars I gave is for Tickledpnk31's review!

I have to say, the sheer number of uniformly horrible reviews for this film is very odd indeed. For the most part, this is a fascinating, often hilarious portrayal of a compulsive liar whose web eventually becomes so tangled that he can't keep the narratives straight and utterly loses touch with reality in the process. But the movie also paints a very clear and damning picture of the corporate practices undermining the natural regulating forces of a supposedly free market economy. For all the effort that ADM puts into portraying itself as the benevolent "Supermarket to the world", I wouldn't be in the least surprised if they've got a damage control team concocting fake negative reviews to keep people from watching this film. Don't believe it. This cleverly conceived screenplay is every bit as entertaining and witty as a Cohen Brothers production or a Wes Andersen piece. It's almost a white-collar crime version of "Fight Club". There are no sweaty guys beating the crap out of each other in basements, it's true. But if you can stand to be without that for a couple hours and you have an attention span long enough to finish this review, I'd venture to say you'll probably find this film both entertaining and thought provoking.

All the fast talking slow learning types hated it, so that probably means it requires a bit of thinking and is probably enjoyable by those who can actually understand it

I have to say I disagree with most on this one. This was a very good movie. Remember, you're viewing this film from the point of view of someone who is bipolar. I agree the film was slow for awhile; very slow. But I think the last hour more than made up for it.
