The Iron Lady

I have ************ 30 minutes of it. and ready to return it---very backward movie and Meryl Streep should have never agreed to do this one...HORRIBLE

I rarely see a film with an an actor known to me that I don't SEE that actor as acting a role. The makeup and acting in this movie was so superb as to fool my mind's eye into thinking that I was actually watching Margret Thatcher play herself. EXCELLENT!

I thought it a waste of time and of M.Streep's talent.

I postponed seeing this movie, and even thought that I would miss it. To be clear, I have as much contempt for Mrs. Thatcher as I do for, to name just a couple, Mr. Reagan and Mr. Hitler. I was surprised that for a human being that I abhorred deeply, I did not feel disgusted as one of the critics suggested that would happen to both friends and foes of this seemingly deeply polarizing character.

Just okay.
