One of the most emotional movies I have ever seen. I cant stop thinking about Hassan and his undying devotion to Amir.I went to see it on Christmas Day and I cant stop thinking about it.It was playing in one of the smaller theatres but there were no seats available. It got a standing ovation. After having seen Charlie Wilson's War a few days earlier this movie gave a more horrific and true version of the war in Afghanistan. Afterwards, I wanted to kiss the ground I walked on....glad to be in America.

I absolutely loved everything about this movie. All the young boys did an excellent acting job. I really admired the older Assef (Abdul Salam Yusoufzai). I have never seen him before and I thought he was exceptionally handsome. I would like to know more about him but was unable to find any details or photos. After reading the book I e-mailed Hosseini's publisher to let her know how great the book was and to please encourage him to write another ... which he did .... "A Thousand Splendid Suns". I hope his new book can also be made into a movie. Thank you for a heartwarming, emotional, redeeming story.

Both the heating system and plumbing system in my home have been serviced by the staff of this company in the past two weeks.. I always admire the problem solving skills of the staff members. This movie is the best movie I've seen all year. My only problem with the movie is that the main character is such a horrible person early on in the movie that I felt had a very unsympathetic attitude towards him for the rest of the movie. Don't miss out...watch this movie. 5/5

This is one of the best movie adaptations from a book I have seen that I can remember. The acting and casting was outstanding and the major actors all deserve Oscars! The script was wonderful and flowing and it was as I would have imagined it in reading the book. The book moved me in so many ways and the film did extraordinarily well to achieve a similar result.
