Mixing hip card sharp Barbara Stanwyck and brilliant herbetoligist nerd Henry Fonda and mix them in a Preston Sturges\' gem of a romantic stew and you have the fixins for one of the great madcap comedies of all time. Charles Coburn is exemplary as Stanwyck\'s double dealing dad and no one has ever been quite as hilariously infuriated than Sturges regular William Demarest. Sturges was tops at sexy funny love. An evergreen masterpiece.

Delightful comedy - one of the best of great films by Preston Sturges. A classic gem.
