Man Oh Man, No Car chases, Gun fights, Rape, Murder, Theft or Bad language, Drug or Alcoholic melt downs. Come On!!!! With todayâs arrogant critics, audiences who demand things that explode and or burst into balls of blood filled fire and special effects every five seconds will surely find this film limp and uninteresting. For me it was just a chance visit with three soulful and realistic threadbare veterans. Anyone who has never had thirty days military leave or been mustered out of the armed services will not have a clew as to what this film brings to view. It is for me a rare and almost impossible task to find a movie with characters that don't leave me with the feeling of gum stuck to the bottom of my shoe. No body got political and passed judgment on being involved in the war. No hate among the three principal characters that all end up being people I cared about. The writer & director made this story though slow to some, very real life to me. Sad that it takes Sundance Film audiences to appreciate a movie like this but it will surely be lost on those who a responsible for sending movies like this direct to video. Much Thanks Miles Cop
