I am a fan of Stephen Sommers films, they are fun and I love his use of the nostaligic formula for combining action, humor, and romance, they pack plenty of punches, but not enough 'Punch'. This third Mummy Movie (with the least of Sommers personal involvement) is not bad, though not great, the first one is the best. The action is entertaining, the actors attractive but for some reason you don't care enough. Such films produce tons of sound and fury, shake our seats and ear drums but unless they move our hearts they miss their mark.I confess Mummys were never my thing anyway, my favorite Sommers movie is Van Helsing...yah, I know...laugh it up, but I love teh genre and it had more soul and promise that any of his other films. I strongly disagree that it was all CGI, it is the most charcater driven of Sommers' Sci Fi films. The error came in forcing extra CGI to fill in gaps where more TLC should have been. I would have liked to have seen him take it further, in fact if he would I recommend visiting YOUTUBE channell REDANGEL726 look for VAH HELSING SEQUEL INTRO SKETCH, thank you.

This movie pissed me off. The woman who took the place of the previous wife was awful. The chemistry was not there at all and it seemed odd. The son didn't match his parent in his looks or anything . The movie ended stupid. To many love scenes. The General and Emperor should have battled each other and the witch should have restore him back to life before she died. I was very disappointed me and I missed Evie....Maria Bello sucked and she didn't fit the movie. I could have scripted the movie better.....

it was ok but you have to keep an open mind about the characters that were recast..the guy who played the son needs to get another job..acting isnt going to cut it. The movie was entertaining though...

This movie was ok but the casting was all wrong. Racheal Weisz was perfect in her role and I can understander not doing after reading that script. the Dialog was bad and the chemistry was off. The action and effects where cool but that alone doesn't make a good movie.

HUGE disappointment! What in the world were they thinking? Just as I, you will not be able to get over Maria Bella playing Evie. Who did the casting for this movie? The guy who played Alex was terribleâ¦he was one of the main characters and he was pitiful! I do not recommend anyone to see this. This is a disgrace to the Mummy franchise. Itâs almost said because it had so much potential.
