I actually asked for my money back. Did not get it, but was able to get a credit to another movie. Jim carey is taking any movie deal now just to get his 20 million per flick. This movie blows!

Half of the movie was so boring. My husband fell asleep and so was I. I asked my husband to leave but he said might as well finished the movie. Even though it was boring, Jim Carrey was good.

I was questioning the rating system but, as I write this, I now see the problem. You write a review and then someone or the system assigns the number of stars.I was wondering why someone who says, "don't go see this movie" gave it 4 stars. Why doesn't the reviewer get to pick the number of stars given?

Hey, this was a really clever screenplay, and I think the acting was really good. I LOVED Jim Carreys house! Fabulous California Craftsman! This was creepy good fun without too much violence or foul language. From the previews, I was afriad it was going to be sort of satanish, but it isn't at all! And, I think movies should be about 90 minutes long like this one.Anyone who has seen Zodiac(90 minute movie told with a Titanicish 160 minutes) will surely agree.

I, Rita Stoll, wrote a short story titled "23" over 2 years ago. I submitted my short story to a short story competition...I also made a foolish mistake and Emailed the story to a few individuals I thought to be friends. I sat through The Number 23 in a hometown theatre and can conclude my review by saying...Fernley Phillips is not the only person who should receive credit for writing The Number 23...as I wrote it years before him. This movie is an all out lie from where it originated and it will be made known publicly.

I do not know why this movie was so incredibly bad. Direction is good, effects are good, the cast is great, but the story is demonically bad. Do not go see it. It will make you puke.

Going into the movie all I could think about is what is 23? Jim Carrey once again came through as an amazing character. The movie played out very smoothly and the sequence of events made me hoping for more. My favorite line of the movie "This may not be the fairy tale ending but it is the right one!" I loved the number 23 and found four interesting things that add up to 23 in my own life also!
