I thought the movie was pretty cool, i never got bored or anything and i thought the idea behind the movie was pretty clever. TO THE PERSON WHO SAID THEY TOOK HONORS CLASSES AND DIDNT UNDERSTAND THIS MOVIE, SORRY NO ONE HAD THE HEART TO TELL YOU, THE CLASSES YOU TAKE ARE SPECIAL CLASSES, NOT HONORS CLASSES RETARD.

Don't go out of your way to see this movie. It was ok, the twists were fair, the suspense was ok. The problem is that the ended drags on and on and is a stupid twist. The cool thing about the end is that if you have that friend that isn't real bright, they stretch it out for a long time so that even the mouth breathers can pick up on what happened.

I guess it's not good according to the average viewer. If you're expecting some sort of gory, mainstream thriller, look elsewhere. However, if you have a taste for the weird - the occult, the serial killers, the legends, the fables, the tall tell-tales...This movie will sit wonderfully with you, as it did with me!

I thought the story line was a bit bizarre but Jim Carrey's acting was awesome!!! He deserves credit for his talent...

God awful....Jim C was alright. This movie was such a stupid awful waste of time...dumb. The trailers make it seem worth while. Those guys who edit the trailers did a better job than the producers and writers. DO NOT see this lame movie!! ASTRoNAUT FARMER LOOKS BETTER..LOL ..or maybe the trailer looked good.

ok i really didn't now what the movie was about when i went. so when i sat down and started to watch i figured that i wouldn't really like it,(except i like jim)as i continued to watch it i got more curious and tried to read into it more.....then BAM out of no where is a twisted part, what the hell???? did that really happen!!! It keeps you interested and wanting to know more about what was in the book!! I left thinking about hte number 23 and cought myself adding and subtracting numbers that i seen driving home!!! Captivating movie!! Thumbs up and a " Great job " to Jim Carrey!!!

This movie is truly terrible. It's all over the place, and most of it makes no sense. Believe the critics on this stinker, I wish I did!

This movie was awful, like watching a train wreck in slow motion. This is a definate candidate for the top ten worst movies of all time. I think Schumacher was channeling Ed Wood on this one. Carrey and Madsen did the best they could with this garbage script but it was truly painful to watch.

i agree the trailers were wonderful for this movie and kinda had you all hyped up to see something that could potentially become ur favorite movie. well it's not my favorite movie but its pretty frickin good! i hate math, this gives me more reason to hate it but my friends began adding and subtracting and multiplying numbers to get 23...pretty good movie, it'll leave you counting things, great way to develop OCD lol
