I love veggie tales! My teens (yes, teens) love veggie tales! It's nice to be able to sit in a movie and not worry about what my kids will see or hear! This movie is entertaining and hilarious! A great one to take your grandkids to as well!

We are about to take our 2.5 year old son, Sean and his 7 month old sister to see this movie. It is so sad that we are at a time in 2008 that this is the ONLY G rated movie suitable for these kids to see. Even Alvin, a throwback from the 60's kids era, is rated PG. My patients who saw it said it was definitely inappropriate for toddlers. We will post a full review later today. As a father

Veggie Tales is a faith-based franchise that uses a blend of a religious/moral message and humor to teach about honesty and forgiveness. But Pirates lacks the humor of the videos and "A Veggie Tales Movie." Full Review

My 3-year-old date had a fine time, pronouncing the movie "very good" and backing up her assessment by going 90 minutes with barely a fidget. Which may actually be the highest compliment any movie can ask for. Full Review

Won't do anything for adult auds, but this second bigscreen adventure from the popular VeggieTales franchise should easily win over tots with its reliable menu of silly songs, easily digestible morals and wholesome (if not always fresh) produce-based characters. Full Review
