No doubt about it this is an action packed movie. Bill Elliot's character as Sam Cotton is not only a ladie's man but a shrewd businessman. He and a group of others are seeking finance for their Pony Express venture from the Arnesen Bank. The bank owner's wife, Cathy (Gail Patrick) is having an affair with the guy who wants to destroy the Pony Express, Peter Marquette (Joseph Schildfraut). Cathy reveals her relationship with Marquette to her weak-hearted husband and he dies. After an unsuccessful bid to take over the bank, Cotten drives Cathy and Marquette out of the area. the pony Express plans go along as planned. Cotton falls for Ann Arnesen (Vera Ralston). There's plenty of action with the bad guys trying to destroy the supply stations, Indian chases, a second appearance of Don "Red" Barry dessed in a solid black villian outfit, Hal Taliaferro (Wally Wales) is riding with the Indians as an interpreter and then, of course, there's Andy Clyde ( I sure do miss him with Hopalong Cassidy).
