A solitary woman finds her sanity unraveling after retreating to a secluded cabin and encountering a restless entity with malevolent intentions. Deep in the woods, a woman (Mira Sorvino) withdraws from the world -- but she's not alone. Watching her every move is a specter (Shane West) who wants a body to call his own. When the woman's boyfriend (Justin Kirk) shows up for an unannounced visit, her behavior turns unexpectedly erratic. Is she losing her mind, or is her body slowly being taken over by a force beyond human comprehension?
