So sick of people always saying Black women should stay within their own race. Yet, Black men get no hype about dating outside of their race. Plus, it's a cartoon, who cares whether the main character is Black and the Prince is not! Honestly I like ********* taking on the issue of interracial relationships. I support interracial relationship and am in one myself. The whole hype about the whole interracial thing is ridiculous. Got enough problems in society and people want to focus on issues that have nothing to do with anything. It's a cartoon. In real life, it's nobodies business who anyone dates. Mind your own business!. On another note, can't wait to see this movie ^-^

um in the majority of the original disney stories-ehem- All- the main characters were depicted as characters of light skin so why leave the original basis of the story just to make some misguided atempt at diversity, it really seems more patronizng then anything else on another note i wonder if this plot is going to be as twisted as disney's lousy interpretation at the powahatan tribe (pocahantus) oh wait no, it's not even that, they merely transitioned from the peach colored brush tool to the brown

HURRIC2 you may have a point. However, did you notice the Moor, correctly placed in the last Robin Hood movie? Oh... and should we not mention Othello. And while I mention it, the Gypsie of Hunch Back, if looked up means Egyptian. The movie looks really entertaining for my tastes, and I cannot wait to enjoy with my children?

most disney movies have the same style of art because some of the original artists that did those movies are still around and helping draw it! I dont see anything wrong with ther being a black princess...maybe disney just didn't notice that they were all white, and wanted to make up for that mistake. =)

Ok first of all. The movie looks very interesting I don't see anything that look like the other disney films in it, so I really don't know what WriterNArtGurl's talking about lol. I am very happy that there's finally a black disney princess. There's many issues about the prince not being black. It would have been nice to also see the first African American prince, but I guess we will just have to wait until disney make another 2d film with a black princess and black prince HOPEFULLY,... maybe like i guess another four years lol. The movie looks very interesting I can't wait to see it in theaters :).

I'm looking very forward to this movie! I think that Disney put a lot into getting back to the 2D animation, and thought there are some similarities between it and other princess movies, I think it will be a lot different in the end. Go Tiana!

The poster art looks reminesant of The Little Mermaid's poster. (the shadow and the way she's sitting and her sillouhette) Her expressions look like Mulan's and the frog prince reminds me of Lumiere. I'm wondering if there will be anything different about this movie than the other disney princesses. So far, it looks like a visual mishmash of other movies. (Even ones that aren't disney. I spotted lots of animations that are eerily similar to The Swan Princess.) I'm sceptically hopeful this will be good. I'm worried that they have forgotten how to make good ones though... vv() It's been soooo long since we've seen a decent 2D... : crosses fingers:
