I thought it was a good movie. Special effects were great. Hiliary Swank acted well. I have not read the bible lately, but it made me want to study up on the those parts used in the movie. I do not take religion too seriously; so maybe I enjoyed the movie more than a very religous person. I took it as fantasy and fun to watch and I wanted to see why these things were happening.

this was one of the best movies i saw in a while.. everyone in the theater love it. it keeps u at the egde of your seat the whole time. great ending too. it is really worth the money. i recommend itt!

the movie was all over the place i walked out of the theather thinking this is a dumb movie.do not waste your money wait for video

Engrossed watching the film at one point I jumped up from my seat and half of my bag of popcorn went flying through the air and onto my hair and clothes and the corrider isle. After a while my nerves settled down to a point where I was so consumed by this suspenceful film I found myself screaming out loud and putting my hands over my ears. It took me about an hour to chill out and come back to reality. I have a feeling there will be a sequel to this film which is most intriguing and ultimately captivating. Just remember to buckle down when you watch the movie. You're in for an explosive surprise!Waving atcha from eastern NC,Capri

I don't know why any of these reviewers would write a review on this movie- the Boston Globe's review is just tacky and they all ruin the movie for you- I say go see it having only seen the trailer- then you can decide for yourself whether you liked it. Instead of being fed bull about Hilary swank taking a role beneath her.Anyway, i absolutely loved the movie- very reminiscent of 'The Omen'- the older one. From it's creepy setting in a Louisiana town- the movie has you. It has a massive amount of thrills and scariness. The main character is very likable- i love hilary Swank from 'Million Dollar Baby' and she's fantastic. The movie delivers a lot more than the 10 plagues of Exodus.....if somewhat scary movies with a plot don't do anything for you- it's okay. Seriously, give the movie a chance. ;)Enjoy those of you who see the movie!!

Oh my god...The Reaping was one of the best movies i've seen in a long time! it had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. I loved how it was so "jumpy" and had such a twist at the end! i can't wait to go see it again. i recommend it to anyone!!!
