Hard to understand why only one theatre in Michigan is showing this movie...I am sure there are at least 500,000 screens showing " New Moon". Oh well, the world we live in!

Loved the book. Wickedly mesmerizing. Viggo Mortenson was perfectly cast for the lead in this. Can't wait to see this flick...will be so much more to the point I'm sure than 2012 which will beat it to theaters by two weeks. Hope folks don't OD on the crap before the good stuff comes out.

I found a copy of this book in the St. Louis airport. i thought, "What the hell, I'll read it. It was free." Turned out to be one of the best I've read. If you think it is depressing, you miss the point of the ending. Think of a flower growing in a sidewalk crrack in NYC. That's pretty close.. the entire book is a set-up for the author's fundamental point, in hy humble opinion.

This was a fantastic book. I pictured my own son going thru this with me. I don't know if I could actually watch a movie with that depiction. So dark and bleak with no hope.....

I thought this was a depressing book until I read Tortilla Curtain - that was a depressing book! Looking forward to The Road.

This was the best book that I have ever read, the way it was written left so much to the readers imagination even the names of the characters were left out, I can only dream that the movie will be just as good.
