Your Reviews

This is one of Midler\'s great performances. In this loose biopic,we find Rose Foster similar in character to the late rocker Janis Joplin. Drugs and alcohol are the scene, when you are followed by \&qu... ot;groupies\" .Foster seems to be overwhelmed and swept into the \"party crowd\".As Rose,Bette seems lost, and the people around her don\'t even try to intervene for her welfare. The film does overdo the harsh language, and I am saddened during the song \"Let Me Call You Sweetheart\".The film ends with Foster dying on stage in front of her audience.Bravo,Bette, on this amazing musical perspective Full Review
