This is a totally feel-good movie with great music, creative casting and some very thought-provoking cultural underpinnings ... the Australian aboriginy problem, black soldiers in Vietnam, Martin Luther King, Vietnam, etc.. The characters are unique and quite wonderful. I don't understand why this movie isn't getting more press!
