Synopsis
The Sarah Brightman Special: Harem - A Desert Fantasy is a one-hour television special originally broadcast on PBS. Filmed on-location in Morocco, the special is produced in support of her 2003 album Harem on EMI records and Harem World Tour 2004. Inspired by a Middle Eastern aesthetic, theatrical singer Brightman performs her vocal pop music in lavish surroundings. In addition to various desert landscapes, she also travels to the Atlas Mountains and the city of Ait ben Haddou. Brightman is joined by the London Symphony Orchestra and various Middle Eastern pop stars.
