Plot & Details
A woman is desperate to break out of the isolation that surrounds her in this psychological drama from Chilean filmmaker Jose Luis Torres Levia. Ana (Julieta Figueroa) is a lonely woman who has a hard time reaching out to others; she has few friends besides Veronica (Angelica Riquelme), and she has to look after her sister Marta (Mariana Munoz), who suffers from profoundly negative mood swings. Ana's emotionally distant attitude alienates her boss at a local store, and she loses her job. Needing work, Ana accepts a position as a housekeeper for Toro (Pablo Krogh), an older man who also suffers from loneliness. But it soon becomes clear Toro wants a physical relationship with Ana, something she can't abide.
