Plot Summary
In an affluent California community law firm, Walter Nichols (Burl Ives) is a hard-nosed, irascible senior partner who acts as adviser to the younger lawyers who work there. Walter teams with brothers Brad (Guy Stockwell) and Neil Darrell (James Farentino) when they are called upon to defend a man accused of murdering his girlfriend's wealthy father. The case lifts the lid off the political influence in the community that skews the justice system in favor of the well-connected.
