If this isn't on people's worst movie of the year list, it's because they haven't seen it. I have never been to a movie where so many people walked out. Save your money.

I had just watched "Twilight" and on the way out I decided to pop in on "Spirit" and get a free, indepth preview as it had just started. I do that quite often now because I have been ripped off by actually paying to see such crap as "The Happening, Love Guru, W, Spiderman 3, ETC". Well first off, there were less than a dozen people in the theater for Spirit. I left after 10 minutes, -chuckling to myself, -happy that I didn't pay a dime to see this garbage.

My friend and I went to see it and we knew from the minute we walked in the theater it was going to be bad because we were the only ones in it. It was long and drawn out with really no point. I would not suggest even spending money to see it. It had nothing to keep you interested in it at all and I usually love those types of movies. WASTE OF TIME!

this is by far the most terrible movie that i have ever witnessed. the graphics were terrible in every asspect and veiw. all of the lines were extremely cheesey and the action apeared very fake. you could not find out what time period this movie was supposed to be placed in. overall, this is the worst peice of trash to ever been called a movie

I really could have waited until this came out on DVD/Blu-ray. I was really disappointed. I have to say that the two reasons that I didn't walk out were due to the fact that a) I didn't drive to the theater and b) Samuel L. Jackson. He was so over the top that I wanted to see what he would be doing/wearing next. Full of bad writing and bad acting. It was meant to be campy but campy has continuity. I have never seen this many people walk out of a movie. They sacrificed a lot of story (for what purpose, I don't know). Wait until it comes out on DVD. Really. I wish I had.

i disagree with most reviews... this movie was not terrible, it was just not what people were expecting it to be. it was entertaining, Samuel L was very humorous. the plot was a little jumpy but if you paid attention it was an OK story. not as good as sin city, but still enjoyable.

Frank Miller appears to have been going for the 40s serial-esque mode here and missed entirely (especially for how this movie was advertised and borrowing on the Sin City cinematography). The plot was basic, the dialogue horrible (even for a campy serial it was horrible), the acting atrocious (again, even for a campy serial). I'm amazed Samuel Jackson / Scarlett Johansen didn't walk out on this film as soon as they were handed the Nazi scene. There is a reason comic book illustrators shouldn't be movie directors. They don't realize they are playing with something more then a $2.50 comic book. One of the worst movies I've seen in a long time and absolutely the worst movie I've seen this year.

What a turd! I among others wasn't able to sit through this piece of crap of a movie. Within the first 30 seconds I could tell it was bad, really bad, really really bad. We could only stomach about 45 minutes before we had to leave and ask for a refund. Many other people in the movie theater left also. The only funny part was when I loudly said that the person shot himself in the head because he saw himself in this crappy movie. The acting looked like it was done in 1 take with no one even caring how bad it was. I can't help but think that the studio knew how bad it was and put it out just to try and make back as much money as they could before word got out. They knowingly deceived the public with the trailer and should be punished. After this I felt like I had to go home and wash out my eyes by watching Battlefield Earth and Gigli. Please, please, please save your money and your dignity.
