Bad movie, surprisingly disappointing for a animation movie. Watch Madagascar 2, Wall-E or Kung Fu panda instead.

We took our kids to see this movie. We enjoyed it thouroughly! I think it has a great plot and hidden messages. Although the kids, 9 and 13 did not pick up on them. Things happen for a reason. I highly recommend this movie. However, it is nothing like the award winning book.

Quite frankly, I am not sure if those critics above me watched the same movie. While it may be amusing to the 4 and 5 year old crowd because they have no idea of what exactly a plot is, it is absolutely one of the most awful movies I have ever seen in my life. The plot focuses first on a central mouse character and somehow transitions to several unimportant characters.(i.e the servant girl) Do not waste your money on this film, unless you want to take a nap. I suggest you spend $20 and buy the Ratatouille DVD.
