I love this film,which I consider a classic disaster flick.We find a roster of stars like Fred Astaire,Robert Wagner,William Holden and legends McQueen and Newman.The unfortunate disaster occurs at an opening gala of a tall apartment tower.What we find is that there were corners cut; The manager short-changed the residents, and was too cheap to spend money the \"right' way.McQueen plays a

Towering Inferno is a disaster classic. I have it in my DVd collection of disaster movies and will always be one of my favorites. Paul Newman and Steve McQueen were awesome!!!! This was a disaster film that could actually happen....very realistic...

This movie was one of my all time favorites! a smorgasboard of great actors, great storyline, and great climax to the end! A genuine disaster classic!
